Reader Feedback

Our intent is to make this site a premier site for narrating the stories of English, Scottish, Welsh, and Iirish surnames.

We would invite from our readers:

We do not as a general rule post links to individual family histories and genealogies unless they are seen to have a wider context.  Unfortunately, family histories, no matter how beautifully done, tend to have an appeal little beyond the individual family members and their friends and relatives.

If you do have a family history to relate and would like to broaden its appeal, you might consider sponsoring a more detailed and comprehensive surname site.  Check out shelleyname.com or bowlesname.com, both of which receive a large number of hits, to see how family and name history might be woven together. Drop me an email if you are interested.

I hope that you have found this site interesting and look forward to hearing your comments/gripes etc.

Best regards,

Colin Shelley
